Since our relaunch in 2009, the re-born Reading Branch of the WEA has become the third biggest WEA branch in the country, running 45 courses and study days in 2018/19. Each year has been more successful than the last, as measured by students attending, courses run, size of student base and the enthusiasm of our students. Our branch is organised by student volunteers for students, with, currently, a committee of 7.

Programme Team
Each year's course programme is prepared by a team of volunteers. We aim to offer a varied and wide ranging choice of study opportunities. The current team is John Beale, Anthea Rogers, Chris Carter and Jackie Rupert.
