Continental Philosophy is one of the main contemporary traditions.This course will look at key Continental philosophers from the 20th and 21st centuries, such as Adorno, Derrida, Deleuze and Foucault. Particular attention will be given to how these philosophers have characterised the relation between the individual and society, as well as the question of identity and its relation to power.
