This study day examines the history of American presidents in order to understand why they are considered ‘great’ or ‘failed’. The emphasis will be upon Presidents since Lincoln and will pay particular attention to the administrations of John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard M. Nixon, Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama.
