Philip Giddings

Philip retired from Head of the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Reading in 2011. He had taught (amongst other things) British and Comparative Government politics for nearly 40 years. He has written about the Ombudsman system, British Prime Ministers and various topics relating to Parliament. Originally from Gloucestershire Philip has lived in Reading since 1972. An active member of the Church of England he also has a passion for cricket and rugby union, light gardening and visiting stately homes and gardens.
