Shirley Roberts and Lydia Massey

Shirley Roberts After taking a BA, MA and PGCE in English Literature at the University of Reading, I taught courses on Shakespeare, Chaucer and modern literature for Continuing Education. Following four years in New Zealand, where I tutored and lectured at the University of Canterbury, I have lived in France, where I have taught English language, and literature classes to advanced groups. I am passionate about all genres of English literature. Lydia Massey My extensive experience as an ante-natal teacher with the National Childbirth Trust coupled with my BA in English with Classical Studies from the University of Reading will, I hope, stand me in good stead to make a valuable contribution to teaching for the WEA. I am an ardent Grecophile, with a particular interest in ancient Greek epic and drama. I also have a particular love of the works of Shakespeare and, indeed, an enthusiasm for all aspects of English literature.
